Series F

PROTHERM, LLC™ Series F electric infrared heaters are highly efficient, fast response, medium wavelength heaters designed for use in general industrial process heating applications where critical product temperatures and uniformity are demanded.

Corrugated foil elements in our Series F electric infrared heaters respond slightly faster than Series FS elements due to the thinner material thickness. However, having limited resistance options and requiring longer element circuit length limits the design options we can offer.

In most applications, we recommend using the PROTHERM Series FS as an alternative. Please contact one of our heater design specialists to see if Series F can be a good option for your application.

Series F electric infrared heaters:

• Operates at element temperatures up to 1550 f (2.5 micron-peak).
• Designs up to 45 watts per square inch.
• Unique corrugated metallic foil elements.
• Highly efficient and effective.
• Efficiencies exceeding 89% have been proven, the highest in the industry.
• Heats up to processing temperatures in about 10-15 seconds.
• Cools down to “safe” temperatures in about 15 seconds.
